1. What We Collect

We collect: email address and password (for authentication), business profile information you enter (trade, state, services, business name, etc.), assessment answers, progress data, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers). If you apply to our affiliate program, we collect application information you provide (name, email, website, audience details).

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the Metrix Score™ service: scoring, roadmap generation, progress tracking, and account management. To process payments via Stripe. To send essential account-related communications. To administer the affiliate program if you participate.

3. Analytics

We collect privacy-safe, allow-listed analytics events with your consent. Essential functionality works without analytics consent. Analytics data does not include your profile details, scores, or business information. You can withdraw consent at any time in your account settings.

4. Affiliate Tracking Cookies

If you arrive via an affiliate referral link, our affiliate platform (Rewardful) may set a cookie to attribute your visit to the referring affiliate. This cookie is used solely for affiliate commission attribution and does not track your browsing activity outside of Metrix Score. Affiliate tracking cookies are subject to your consent preferences. Essential product functionality and checkout work without affiliate tracking consent.

5. Data Storage

Data is stored in Supabase (hosted in the US). Authentication data is managed by Supabase Auth. Payment data is managed by Stripe. Affiliate tracking data is managed by Rewardful. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

6. Data Sharing

We share data with: Supabase (data storage), Stripe (payment processing), Rewardful (affiliate attribution), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and as required by law.

7. Your Rights

You can request data export or account deletion at any time by contacting info@themetrixscore.com. Account deletion will remove your profile, assessment, and progress data. You can withdraw analytics and tracking consent at any time.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies and affiliate tracking cookies require your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time.

9. Third-Party Resources

10. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, profile, assessment, and progress data are removed. Payment records may be retained as required by law. Affiliate application data is retained for program administration purposes and can be deleted upon request.

11. Subprocessors

Current subprocessors: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Rewardful (affiliate tracking), Vercel (hosting, analytics, and deployment).

12. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
